  1. My daughter and I really appreciate all the help Sergio in the lumber department gave us today and the last time we were there. He really took his time answering all our questions and not rushing us away, and trust me, we really had a lot of questions! The location is at 4848 N. 43rd Ave in Phoenix, AZ 85031.

  2. I went to Cypress, CA, Home Depot to purchase a toolbox for a Christmas gift, and the system said that they had three in stock of the one I wanted; one of the sales assistants looked for the toolbox but was unable to find any.

    He then informed me that the Stanton, CA, Home Depot had fourteen in stock. Once I got there, I walked up to Randy and asked for his help locating the toolbox I was looking for. He was so kind, found it right away, and went above and beyond to get the ladder to retrieve it from the very top shelf. He gave me exceptional customer service and was accommodating, even wiping it clean at my request since it was a little dirty.

    I really appreciate all the effort and support that Randy gave to me in order for me to be satisfied with my purchase.

  3. I was at the Home Depot at 801 Trenton Rd in McAllen Tx and had the pleasure of receiving help from Jaime. He went so far and out of his way to help us. He answered all of our questions, and if he didn’t know it, he would find out. We had help from Manny, who assisted with getting the correct things.

  4. I went to the Rancho Cucamonga Home Depot today, and Appliance Specialist Kevin Johnson was AWESOME. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Kevin made this Hope Depot experience great for my son and me! Kevin’s coworker, I didn’t quite get her name, was very nice to my son. Overall, all this was a good experience!

  6. Tonight, we visited the Home Depot in Gretna, LA. While in the plumbing department, we needed help locating a product. The Sales Associate on duty, Frank E., was very friendly, offering to assist us in locating the product we needed. Once found, the product was not marked with any checkout information. Frank E. took the time to look up the data and write it down for us to provide to the cashier when checking out. He was delightful and helpful and made our shopping very a success.

    While checking out, I encountered a pricing discrepancy on an item I was purchasing, and Sharon went above and beyond to resolve the issue with a smile and patience.

    What truly stood out was Sharon’s genuine concern for me, the customer, as she worked to rectify the pricing discrepancy. She was able to explain to me the pricing error and also took the extra steps necessary to ensure I understood the steps taken to correct the issue.

    Sharon’s performance at the checkout counter truly stood out. I left Home Depot feeling satisfied with my purchase and also impressed by Sharon. Home Depot is fortunate to have such a customer-focused employee.

    Sharon turned a potentially frustrating situation into a positive shopping experience.

  8. I was at the Home Depot in West Long Branch, and Shachia at self-checkout went out of her way to help me ring up a poinsettia that was on sale but kept scanning the total price. She made sure I got excellent customer service.

  9. We shop the Wilkes-Barre Pa. Home Depot and were greeted by employee Theresa Prayer, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She watched our items as we were able to have cookies and coffee that she offered us, and her fantastic spirit got us through the crazy day of shopping. I wish there were more employees like her in every store as she showed us what the Christmas spirit is really about!

  10. I went with my son to Home Depot in Kerrville, Texas, on November 24th to exchange a refrigerator that would not work for us. Two employees named Krista and Dub went above and beyond to help us with the issue. Their customer service on Black Friday was at its best for such a busy day of the year. It was such a pleasure to work with people who took their time with my son and me.

  13. Last week, I received excellent customer service from Roger Spiegel, who works in the appliance department of your Cincinnati/Beechmont store. I came in to purchase a new refrigerator, something I had not done in twenty years, so I had a learning curve to catch up with the latest technology. His customer-centered approach made the purchase easy and fun. He listened carefully to what I was looking for in the refrigerator and then helped me figure out which refrigerator best fit my kitchen needs. Roger’s knowledge of the brands and features of each type of refrigerator was top-notch. Home Depot is lucky to have Roger on board in the appliance department!

  14. On Saturday, November 18, 2023, I shopped at your store #0118 in Decatur, GA. I received excellent customer service from Gil. I went there to purchase a battery for my car key remote control. I observed that he went the extra mile to help me. Gil did not realize he had helped before, as I’d just finished a major home improvement project over the last year and had spent a lot of money. I want to compliment all the staff in that store, from the managers to every associate, as most of them have helped me. Great Store And Staff!

  15. I was shopping for a Christmas tree in Georgetown, Texas, at Home Depot today, and Obed helped me. The young man was so impressive! He carried the boxed tree to the outdoor lawn and garden cashier area, set it down, and then went outdoors to get a cart to place it in. I would have been fully capable of doing this myself, but he insisted and said he loves customer service. I tried to give him a tip, which he refused. Obed was so kind and helpful — he truly gave me the best buying experience I have ever had at The Home Depot. He is a great representative for the Georgetown store, and I hope management recognizes what a fine young man you have working on your team.

  16. I shopped at the West Charleston/Hualapai store in Vegas, NV. I was assisted by Rae, who helped me find and purchase everything I needed. She was the best! Also friendly and professional as well. Also, I observed her treating other customers the same way.

  17. I want to compliment Palm Bay Malabar store sales cashier ANTONIA, who was awesome under pressure. When left alone, she multitasked smoothly, assisting three customers with a smile and being very polite. Hats off to her.

  18. I was looking for a dishwasher today at the Gladstone store. Mike G. greeted me and asked how he could help. I told him the specific things I wanted. We looked at the floor models, and then he took me to the computer and keyed in my specifics to find the right one. He is new and rang my purchase up incorrectly. He got Becky M. to fix the sale. It was the best customer service in your store or any Home Depot.

  19. I want to let you know that an employee at the Home Depot store in Jackson, MI store, was a tremendous help to me in buying some 1/4 sheet plywood. He pulled and cut all my boards carefully. Super courteous and helpful. He also said that lumber was not his assigned area.

She was professional, helpful, and patient while helping me to choose the suitable soil for my backyard. She wanted to ensure I was getting the right product, and she took the time to make a couple of calls to the inside store to make sure and always kept a friendly smile. She struck me as a remarkable, brilliant young lady. I hope management would pay attention to her because she is a rough diamond, and with the proper cut and polishing, I predict she might shine and climb up positions in the corporate ladder to Atlanta, GA.

  37. I visited the Home Depot on 2217 E Bell Rd in Phx, AZ 85022. Mike from Lumber and Vince helped so much and allowed me to carry the needed tile. They even made me laugh a couple of times! 10/10 for both!

  38. I have had trouble with a door ordered in the South Claiborne store in New Orleans. The Manufacturer sent the wrong door. I worked with Perry in the door department; he got the door reordered quickly and was exceedingly professional. Once the door opened, I went to pick it up and forgot my wallet in Home Depot. It wasn’t until the next day that I acknowledged it. Perry had located my lost wallet and had it put aside for me. What a relief. Thanks, Perry. What an asset to the Home Depot Team.

  39. I shopped at St. Albert Home Depot today and was satisfied with the help I received from KD. He was very polite and very stoic. He helped in selecting tiles for our backsplash. He is an asset to the HD store.

  40. This morning, I went to store #0284 in Coral Springs, FL. I’ve had good customer service, but today was terrific! Jamie (paint department) and Richard (appliances department) were helpful, friendly, and patient. Both knew about their departments and what products I would need to purchase.

She went above and beyond to provide us with information, options, and assistance as we tried to decide on a new dishwasher! She showed great respect to us (age 89 and 90) and excellent knowledge of the products available.

  44. Store: 1604; CASHIER. 00016; her name is Toni 68490. This competent and understanding person at the Customer Service Desk knew precisely what I needed! I needed my Home Depot credit card number to process my order. I had been in the store in the flooring section sitting at the customer station for over an hour trying to place my order with no luck. I even ordered a new card as I thought my card had expired. So, Toni figured out what I had done and what I needed. She could print out my Credit account and give me a Temporary Charge Pass. She also pointed out the Charge account, which I just approved, so I could cancel it after a few days as I didn’t need two cards. Then she processed my order having to look up each model number and SKU as it couldn’t be found on my shopping card info. She processed my order and wisely advised delivery as I had two pallets plus, and I knew I couldn’t arrange a large enough truck. I had stressed out as there was an extraordinary financial deal I wanted to utilize! She relieved my stress big time. Total time spent in Home Depot was 3 1/2 hours! The last half hour was the solution. I appreciated the patience, confidence, and helpfulness of Toni.

  45. Pro Desk Monica has been my “go-to Pro assistant at the HD store.” I couldn’t ask for a more professional and knowledgeable person to work with. She has helped me with orders more than I can count. She is always professional and patient with all my orders. Her help, support, guidance, and always double-checking are remarkable.   46. Wow! I just had the best experience purchasing appliances ever. My wife and I worked with Kai at the Cedar City, Utah, store. Not only was Kai very personable, but he was also very knowledgeable about all the appliances we asked about. Whenever there was a question that he couldn’t answer directly, he went out of his way to get the details so he could accurately give us correct answers. That is something that is rarely encountered these days. We ended up buying five appliances through Kai. If it weren’t for Kai, we would have shopped elsewhere. Kai has favorably countered the poor experience I have had purchasing a refrigerator from Home Depot. People determine the quality of a business. I was very reluctant to check Home Depot for this purchase. I bought these appliances because of Kai and not Home Depot. I’m retired now. However, I used to do a lot of interviewing to hire people who work well with customers. If I were still hiring, I would try to recruit Kai in a heartbeat. Thanks, Kai, for helping us accomplish something that is usually a pain in the butt. Home Depot is lucky to have you. If all the deliveries work well, I recommend Kai and Home Depot in Cedar City to anyone looking for appliances.

  47. We were looking for a portable, on-floor AC unit, and the First Lady who helped us was very nice but needed to call Aiden to assist us. He answered our questions and was knowledgeable about the product we needed! Glad he was available at the Fargo, ND store! Please give him a raise!

  48. Andrew in plumbing at Home Depot in Leavenworth, Kansas (5000 S. 4th St.) was VERY helpful to me. He saw I would purchase a toilet with a dent in the box. He insisted on opening the box and found the toilet was broken. So through his initiative, I didn’t buy a damaged toilet and THEN have to drive another 30 minutes back to Leavenworth to return it.

  50. I want to tell you about my recent experience at Home Depot in Staten Island. First, I would like to thank you for all the help I received from an employee named Steven Sing. He went out of his way to help me as I am A handicapped individual. Also, the cashier named Melinda was most helpful enough for me, helping me remove items from my basket. Without going into details, I had several questions/problems that needed to be addressed. However, your employee, Jacqueline, was simply outstanding.   52. This is about Mister Caleb in the Garden Center. I was seeking an extension cord in its last known location; however no longer there. I saw Mister Caleb unpacking items from a box. he was asked about the location of extension cords. He checked his device and stated the location. Well, he decided to walk me to the location. He did not know I was rushing to the NBA playoff game and appreciated the direct escort. I needed some small bags of soil to finish my planting project; however, there were no small bags of soil in their designated location. So Mister Caleb walked into the Garden Center based on his act of kindness earlier. Mister Caleb was asked about the small bags of soil for which he spotted a pallet of the item on top of the shelf. He resolved the issue and then stated he could place my large, heavy load of purchased items in my car. He was my hero of the day with his acts of kindness. A worthy person to earn a star for the day based on good character, motivation, and an act of kindness. I am the leader of military men and women who can spot a leader in the making.   53. I frequently shop at the Home Depot store on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, and I want to say how helpful Anthony W has been to me! Every time I go in, he even remembers my name! Every employee should be as thoughtful, generous, and kind as he is!

  55. We visited your Home Depot store in Wilkes Barre Pa on April 21, 2023, at 8:30 in the evening and would like to compliment Shondra. We dealt with her at customer pick-up when we returned items, and she also helped get us 18 months interest-free on a large purchase we made the day before and received the offer in the mail that same day. She was pleasant and very helpful. We wanted to get 10 bags of potting soil, which was quite heavy and located outside. Shondra returned to save the day and my elderly husband’s back. She also helped load another woman’s car with 60 bags of potting soil, and my husband also helped her and the other customer load their car. She did more than any of the young men working that night and putting their time in. Shondra is an asset to your company. Thank you thank you Shondra!

  56. Where to start? Since it’s opened, I have been shopping at the Home Depot on 1001 Steamboat Pkwy Ren, Nv. I have found Home Depot to be a blessing on occasion and a curse on others. I have had terrible luck with any department requiring additional help, like windows, doors, blinds, flooring, etc. People no longer know what customer service is, except for a few folks walking the store table to help when needed. I.e., A gentleman named Sandy was by far the most professional person I’ve met at Home Depot in quite some time. He took the time to explain in detail which products would help complete my job. To clarify, I rarely take the time to comment, but the week prior, a grumpy elderly lady checked us out and made a $400.00 mistake, so I went to customer service and explained to the younger gentlemen that I needed to be charged more. He was very polite and shocked by our honesty. I hope Sandy and the few others going above and beyond are being incentivized because Lowes is around the corner.

  57. William Stevens was friendly and extremely helpful at the Downingtown, PA, store. He looked up an item I wanted to buy, and when it came up as having to be ordered, he suggested various options for me to choose from. He then asked us what else we were looking for, gave us the aisle numbers, and walked us there in friendly conversation.     I just want to commend Home Depot about a certain employee at the Centennial Store (7008) whose name is Jamee. I first met Jamee during the kid’s workshop back in November. My son Zachary who is 7 and autistic, generally has a hard time with group activities, but Jamee, who did not know us prior, sat with Zachary as he struggled with his project. By the end of the session, they were best friends. My husband is remodeling our home currently, and we are in Home Depot at least 3 times a week. My son immediately seeks out Jamee and is always pleased to find her. She always greets us with “Hi, Zachary and Gabby.” She has never forgotten their names. Jamee is an energetic, consistently pleasant, knowledgeable, and hard worker. She has worked in several departments where we have needed her help, and she is quick to resolve our issues with a smile on her face. It’s always a perfect trip to Home Depot when Jamee is at work. This past kids’ workshop Jamee was stationed at the paint section. Although she is wonderful and works hard where she is placed, it would be a shame if she does not continue with the kid’s workshop as she is so gifted with kids. She is so fun that kids want to stay in line a bit before being seated so they can play her games while they wait. She is a crowd favorite, and I hope to see her at the next workshop.   62. Last week I had tile installers at my house and needed tile. Went to Home Depot in Waterville, ME. In the tile department, Kim LeBlanc was busy helping another customer, but she did acknowledge me and said she would help me as soon as she finished with her current customer. That was so professional. I went to the tile aisle, browsed, and waited about 5-10 minutes. Kim came over with her customer, finished that transaction, and turned and helped me. So polite. She helped me pick out the tile, check that it was in stock, show me the grout, and check me out. She was so knowledgeable about the amounts I would need and answered my questions. It was such a pleasure, and then I was on my way home with tile and grout in the tote. It made shopping so much easier. My tile is now installed. Kim LeBlanc did a fantastic job, and I was so pleased. Thank you so much, Kim.

  63. I went to the Home Depot on 75th St. near Highway 59 in Naperville, Illinois, yesterday to have new keys made. Alissa was at the key grinder and made the two copies of my key swiftly, removing the burrs and placing their keys in individual holders for me. The time required was less than five minutes. I paid for them and was on my way. The keys worked fine. I was delighted with the whole experience.

Everyone in the store was helpful and polite, and they knew where everything was! We don’t live in Oxford, so we must order items online.   67. Walking into Home Depot in Cypress Rosehill, I feel like I’m visiting family. I always get above and beyond customer service in addition to the best value for my money. I like the customer focus attitude in the store and the different dept environments. I specifically want to give a special thanks to Kevin, who helped cut all the wood for me on time. Although the assistance I needed was not in the department he worked at, that didn’t stop him from willingly helping me with a pleasant and patient attitude. I also like to thank Art, who helped me select the right toolbox and work as a team with Kevin to ensure I left the store 100% satisfied. WOW!   70. Robyn at the Lake Wales, Fl store was a super employee today. Unfortunately, the paint department was slammed as only one young lady was working. The store said there were 8 gallons of the pool deck but none on the shelf. After waiting for help, I stopped Robyn in the aisle, not her department. I explained my situation, and she got the ladder and found my paint in a box. She went the extra mile to help me!

  73. I’m so pleased with Cedar Park, Tx—store employee Brandi in the pro dept. I lived on the west coast and was helping my son build a wooden fence. Brandi helped me contact Texas Handyman service, who set the poles. Once I arrived in Tx to teach my son how to make, I received Brandi’s best help and assistance. She is knowledgeable and a great asset to Home Depot.

  74. Right before closing, I stopped in the store at 1330 W. Baseline, Tempe, AZ. I needed 2 gallons of Zep wax to finish my job. The website said there were 7 in stock, but three could not find any. Al was working in another area; I asked him to help me find the products; Al was accommodating and retrieved the product, which was on the top shelf; thank you, Al, for all your help.

  75. I visited my local Home Depot store on Cattleman Rd. in Sarasota, FL, looking for new blinds. Mine were falling apart & I waited way too long. I brought one of the broken sets for measurement purposes. When I got to the section, a woman was working there. I asked her for help & she did just that. I told her the design I wanted & she helped me find them. She then measured the old & measured the new & made sure I was purchasing exactly the right blinds. Then she took me to another part of the store for something else I needed! She was very helpful & knowledgeable. I asked her name so I could leave a compliment for her. She told me & said she was new there. She is awesome. Her name is Sandra Hall!

When two employees tried but could not find the plumbing part I was looking for, Tom came to the rescue, checked the inventory, and found it hidden on the top shelf.   77. Home Depot’s location on JFK Parkway in Fort Collins has unusually well-trained and willing staff. Invariably, they go out of their way to be sure the needs of customers and clients are met. As a professional builder, this is of great importance. In addition, they seem to stock a particularly appropriate selection of materials – surprising. While this is not the closest Home Depot or building material supplier, they are frequently the best for my company. Thank you, Team.

I was in line, and she called out from the self-help counter and said she would help. Then, she assisted me with a price check and helped me with my Veterans’ Discount.     On 3-13-23, I bought three sacks of Scott’s lawn fertilizer. The first two sacks were very lumpy and could not be adequately spread by my Scotts Edgegaurd spreader. I had to stop and clear the lumps preventing a uniform fertilizer spread.

    So I returned the third sack and the empty first two sacks to my Home Depot on 1488 and asked for a credit for the two defective bags. They said I must contact this Home Depot site to get my money back. However, they did allow me to replace the lousy sack with a new one. Note: the new bag worked perfectly.

    I charged this purchase on my American Express Card and would like you to credit me back on the same card.

    Some thoughts. As I checked for a new bag, I found many bags were lumpy or frozen solid. You have a severe problem with your current stock. Also, I have retained a bucket of the lumps that I had to extract by hand from my spreader should you want more detailed information.

He was professional, helpful, and patient while helping me to work out details for a DYI project. In addition, he made astute suggestions and helped me find the appropriate merchandise. Over the years, my experiences with Home Depot employees have been mixed, from outright rude and unknowledgeable to extremely helpful. Jake O. fits in the latter category. In my opinion, as a small business owner, Jake deserves to be recognized and additionally compensated for the valued employee that he is.

  82. Recently my Grandmother Evelyn entered the Home Depot Store in Arlington, Texas 76017, and received amazing customer service from a Floor Specialist named Shiya Garza. She went above and beyond to ensure my grandmother left with what she needed while being proactive throughout the experience. She did a great job, from searching for the tiles to using a forklift to get down the same sets required.

  84. I am a home building/painting contractor who has been buying all my products from Home Depot for many years now, and I am pleased with how the stores are managed and operated! Sales associates are always in good spirits and knowledgeable in the departments they attend to. I never have an issue. I shop mainly at the mantua and Deptford NJ stores. Very happy!

  85. I visited Home Depot at 2808 E. State St., Eagle, ID, 83616, to get more information and pricing on a Cub Cadet ZTS1 lawn mower. “Kailie” at the Service Desk answered my questions regarding the mower I was interested in. She was very friendly and professional.

    She was very knowledgeable about the mower and accessories. She helped me place the order for the ZTS1 mower and bagger system. All in all, it was an excellent experience at my favorite store. Now, Kailie will be my favorite person at the Service Desk.

Hello, to whom it may concern, I have been shopping at the Home Depot for many years, and I would like to take the time to acknowledge and point out to management an employee I consider your best, Mr. James Gutzman. He has been enormously helpful and has gone above and beyond to take care of me in helping me find exactly what I need, including material, ordering, shipping, and the not-so-occasional HD mistakes. If not for Mr. Gutzman, you would have lost me as a customer years ago. I don’t know what you pay him, but if he were my employee,he would get a big raise!

  87. I just left store 149 in Alpharetta, where I purchased $130 worth of concrete landscape edging. My wife and I planned to load up a flatbed cart with 60 stones, drag them through the garden area, pay for them, and then load them into the bed of my pickup truck. To my surprise, the lawn & garden department manager decided to help us by bringing a pallet of the edging to the loading zone of the parking lot, where we loaded them into the truck. Now that is service! It is the type of service that keeps me driving past Lowes to come to Home Depot several times a week.

    Please pass my appreciation to the store & department managers and all the employees for excellent customer service.

  88. I was at store 0404 yesterday in Mesa, Arizona, on Crismon Rd. Feb 06, 2023. Brodie helped me up front at the Customer service desk. Brodie was accommodating as I had no idea how to replace the carport and horse shed roofs. However, I did have the measurement, and he calculated everything for me. He was very patient and reviewed everything to help me understand how it would work per the items needed for the jobs. Hopefully, I will see him again today, as the water heater crashed last night, and I need to buy another one.

  89. Today I visited the Home Depot store in Woodbury, MN. The purpose of my visit was to buy water softener salt. As a widow, the bags are heavy, so I need assistance. Tom H. was beneficial and loaded the bags into the back of my car. His attitude was cheerful, making me feel like a valued customer.

  90. HIBO at the Home Depot In Anchorage, Alaska 400 rodeo place went above and beyond when I locked the keys in my truck with my 2-year-old. She was calm and knowledgeable about where the proper tools were to help me get into my truck very quickly. The garden representative, Barbara, was the most friendly, knowledgeable, and best salesperson I met! She knew things about fertilizers, bug killers, and the names of plants and made some excellent recommendations! Barbara made my experience with the Home Depot garden a memorable one. People like Barbara make me want to return to Home Depot. I wish all your employees had the same work ethic and commitment to your company. She truly wanted to ensure I was satisfied with my purchases, and I felt she wanted my success in my gardening challenges.

  94. I want to inform you your employee Skip at the Saratoga Springs store was extremely helpful today; they answered all y questions and helped me find all the materials I needed for my home project. As a result, I will, from now on, get my material from Home Depot and not Lowes.
